Week of January 7th

Happy New Year! May 2019 be the healthiest, and happiest year for all of us!

Letter of the Week: Letter Mm and it's phonetic sound
Number of the Week: 11- We worked on 10 when we returned from Christmas break and now we will focus on our numbers 11-19 as Ten and ______ more. So 11 is Ten and One more.
Shape and Color of the Month: Rectangle/ Black and White
God's Time: The Three Wise Men come to visit Baby Jesus
Monthly Unit: We are beginning our unit on Seasons, Weather and Calendar. We will exploring the four seasons and how we experience each one.

Please be sure to have the children come with hats and gloves. Hats and gloves keep them warm, but also safe when running on the playground. When the children run with their hoods up it blocks their peripheral vision. When they don not have gloves on they tend to run with hands in their pockets. If they fall they don't have their hands to catch them. If it helps place a set into their back packs that they can use whenever they are in school.

We are in need of empty tissue boxes for our Valentine Mailboxes. We like the ones that are rectangular and have a slot on the top.

Catholic Schools Week is coming fast! We will be celebrating our wonderful St. Therese School the week of Jan. 27th. The 27th is an Open House from 12:30-2:00.
