My apologies, but when opening to write this blog I realized I never sent last weeks blog! Yikes, let the crazy season begin!!!
Studies: This week we will be doing some review of our letters and numbers. It's good practice to try and rearrange the numbers and letters and see if the children can put them in order again.
Unit: We will wrap up our study on God's Creation with one of my favorite Stations Days-Worms!!!
God's Time: We will talk a bit more about Thanksgiving and we will being to discuss the season of Advent.
Schedule: Pre-K will have a Regular Day Schedule on Monday and Tuesday. Wed is an 11:45 dismissal. The Big School carline had to be adjusted to accommodate Roxbury buses and will begin at 11:30. Any families with siblings in the Big School should go to that line first and then the PreK carline second.
November Show N Tell: is Wed. Nov. 27th. Please help your child choose one item that reflects what we learned this month. Letters Hh, Ii, and Jj. Numbers 6,7,8. Shape Square and Color Brown. God's Time Thanksgiving and Unit Study-Living and Non living things.
First Friday Mass: Friday, Dec. 6th. Pre-K will be attending mass with our fourth grade buddies and the Big School. Please dress the children appropriate for church.
STS Santa Breakfast is Saturday, Dec 7th. It is such a nice event! You must pre-register for this event. Check the Friday Folder on the website. Following the breakfast there is Home for the Holidays, a wonderful Street Fair with all kinds of activities for the family. My daughter's Tap Company is Dancing at the fair!!
Pre-K Christmas Show: is Fri Dec. 13th at 9:00 am. Please refer to the letter about dress, siblings, dismissal etc...
The Room Moms have sent out information on items needed for the reception.
Friday Dec 20th is a Noon dismissal for all. NO AFTERCARE

Clothing Drive 11/15-11/17
Open House: Sunday, Nov. 17th their will be a School Mass at 10:30 and an Open House from 12:30-2:00. Please invite any prospective family you may know. It is through your positive words that turn other families onto our school! Feel free to visit yourself. Mrs. Tironi will be in Kindergarten if you'd like to say hello!
Thanksgiving Week: The big school will be having conferences so they will be on a Noon dismissal for Monday, Tuesday and Wed. PreK will have a regular schedule for Monday and Tuesday. Wed. we will have a Noon Dismissal (NO Aftercare)
Advent Angels: Your child received a letter explaining "Advent Angels". Each Pre-K child has been paired up with a Fourth Grade Buddy. Their Buddy will be their Advent Angel and Visa Versa. Throughout the season of Advent the children can create pictures, you can help them write a message or prayer, or something little(no food) to give to their buddy. We will sneak over and put the items in their stockings. It is just a little something to let their buddy know we are praying and thinking about them!!!
Christmas Show: The Prek4 Christmas Show will be on Friday Dec 13th at 9:00am. The show lasts about half an hour and will be followed by some small refreshments. More info will be coming home in a letter soon.
Santa Breakfast: STS Santa Breakfast is a wonderful family event! Saturday Dec 7th.-You must pre- order tickets Home for the Holidays is a Roxbury Street Fair that follows the Breakfast. Always so much Christmas Fun at the Fair! My daughter Chloe will be dancing a Nutcracker Tap Dance with her Tap Company, at the Fair!

You are welcome to join the school family for mass at 11:00, but your PreK child will be sitting with their teachers, buddies and classmates.

STS Family Mass was moved to 11/17 at 10:30. From 12:30-2:00 there will be an Open House at the school. Please let interested friends or neighbors know about our WONDERFULL school!
Clean out your closets, attics and basements and get them ready for more Christmas Gifts by donating all your unwanted clothing and some other items to the 8th Grade Clothing Drive the weekend of 11/15-11/17. They will even take them right from carline!
