Week of January 24

 Thank you for meeting with me during our Parent/Teacher Conferences. It was a pleasure to discuss your wonderful children with you!

Priority Registration: You are already part of the St. Therese family, so you have priority for registration into our amazing Kindergarten Program. Please call the front office for more information.

Pre-K Pajama Party: Wed. Jan. 26th is our Pajama Party. Please come dressed in warm PJ's and sensible shoes. Bring a small stuffed animal friend to join us for games and activities (please nothing too big and without batteries or hard pieces) 

January Show N Tell: is Feb. 2nd. Please bring in one item that follows at least one theme from our January lessons. Letter Mm, Nn, Oo, &Pp. Numbers 11-13. Shape Rectangle, Colors Black and White, Theme Seasons, Weather and Calendar. God's Time Baptism and Family.

Catholic Schools Week: Begins Jan 30th. Please see the school website Friday Folder for the CSW Flyer. There are many fun events planned as a school and we may have a few extra fun events just for Pre-K

Valentine's Day: We will celebrate on Monday Feb. 14th. More info to follow. Small hint-all items will need to fit in a " Tissue Box Mailbox". 

WE NEED EMPTY TISSUE BOXES-Rectangular with slits on the top.!-Thank You!

Week of January 16

God's Time: Family- Jesus loves our Families

Shape/Color of the Month: Rectangle/ Balck and White

Unit Theme: Compare and Contrast the Four Seasons


Priority Registration: Since you are already part of the St Therese School Family, you get priority registration for Kindergarten. Please see Ms. Hopkins in the main office.

Pre-K Parent/Teacher Conferences are 1/20 and 1/21. I will send out the Zoom link via email the day of your conference.

Buddy Time: We will meet up with our buddies for Movie and a Cookie Snack 1/21. Please send in the permission slip ASAP. (or email me)

Pre-K Pajama Party: Is Wed. 1/26. Please bring in a small stuff animal to play with all day. Dress in cozy PJs and wear regular shoes. I will need the Popcorn permission slip ASAP. 

January Show N Tell: will be on 2/2

1/30-2/4 is Catholic Schools Week: Check out the Parent page on the St Therese Website for all the activities that week. There are Open Houses (by appointment) for any new or incoming families. Please spread the word about our wonderful school and invite someone to come check us out.

Week of January 10

 It's going to be very cold this week! Welcome to Winter!

Letter of the Week: Nn and it's phonetic sound

Number of the Week: 11 is ten and one more. Going forward this is how we talk about our numbers 11-19. Using this language helps with number sense.

God's Time: Jesus' Baptism. If you have anything from your child's Baptism you would like to share we would love to see it. (Candle, blanket or cloth, pictures, baptism outfit).

Unit Theme: 4 Seasons


Catholic Schools Week: Catholic Schools Week kicks off on Sunday, 1/30. It is a fun week to celebrate our AMAZING Catholic School! There will be Open Houses this week-if you'd like to come a visit Kindergarten and the Big School, this is a great week to see it. Look for information on the St Therese website and please help to spread the word about our wonderful school!

Week of January 3rd

 Happy New Year! I pray that 2022 brings many blessings for all of our families!

God's Time: Christmas and the Epiphany

Unit Theme: Seasons, Weather and Calendar-The Four Seasons


Pre-K Parent/Teacher Conferences: Thursday January 20 and Fri January 21. 

                              I am still missing quite a few conference time preferences. 

                              The children will have a regular scheduled day on Thursday (20th) and Friday(21st). 

We could use: Tissues, Sanitizer Wipes and empty rectangular tissue boxes (preferably not puffs brand)

First Friday Mass: THIS FRIDAY JAN. 7th. Please drop the children off at the church between 8:00 and 8:15. Mass begins at 8:30. If you are later then 8:30 please drop your child off with Mrs. Dobres in Pre-K3. 

Weather Related Delayed Openings: Tis the season for unexpected weather! In case of a delayed opening at St. Therese School, Pre-K will open their doors at 10:00am and begin class at 10:15. Children who need earlier care can be dropped off at the Big School auditorium beginning at 9:30. There is a $5.00 fee for early care.

Catholic Schools Week: Catholic Schools Week begins on 1/30. We will be having lots of fun activities for the students throughout the week. There will be an Open House to register new families to our wonderful school. Please pass the word about our school. Also look for information on the STS Friday Folder about registration for current Pre-K families into our Kindergarten program.
