Week of May 31st

 I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day Weekend-despite the cold and wet weather!

This week we will be practicing for Moving Up Day, creating some fun crafts and making some End of Year memories!

A notice for the Moving Up Day (Fri, June 11th at 1:30pm) will be going out to all the families in your child's folder. Please read and if any questions email me ASAP.

Pre-K's last day of school is Thursday June 10th. There is NO SCHOOL on the 11th. The children will come to school at 12:30 ready for their Moving Up Ceremony.

We could use donations of small water bottle cases for our Moving Up Day Ceremony. If any family is willing to donate please let Mrs. Reed know by 6/6/21 via email.

Due to poor weather scheduled for Monday May 24th we are SWITCHING days!

Monday May 24th is now Pre-K Super Hero Day!- Dress as your favorite Super Hero or wear a Super Hero Shirt! 

Wednesday is now Pre-K Luau/Water Play Day!- Come dressed in Bathing Suit and safe Water Shoes. Bring a Towel and a full change of clothes.

Monday: Pre-K Luau/Water Fun Day- Please come dressed in bathing suits and safe water shoes. Bring a towel and a FULL change of clothes (include shoes)!

***MONDAY and WEDNESDAY MAY SWITCH DUE TO WEATHER!!!

Tuesday: Camping Fun-Please come dressed for some hiking and outside adventures! Bring a small stuffed woodland friend. 

Wednesday: Super Hero Day- Come dressed as your favorite Super Hero or wear a super hero shirt.

Thursday: Summer Olympics Day- Wear Red, White and Blue and Sneakers Too! 

Friday: Pre-K Prom Day- Come dressed to impress and dance the day away!

Wednesday May 26th- Scholastic Book Fair. You must pre-order or send your child with cash to shop. More info about the Book Fair and how to pre-load a card is on the school website. 

Friday May 28th is a Noon Dismissal -No Aftercare

Monday May 31st- No School Memorial Day

Thursday June 10th-Last Day of Pre-K

Friday June 11th- Pre-K4 Moving Up Ceremony at 1:30 in the Big School. Children should arrive by 12:30 in the Learning Center. 

Week of May 17th

 Finally, it feels like May! Welcome Sunshine!!!

Letter of the Week: WE DID IT!!!!! WE completed our letter lessons! Just review from here on out! Next week we will have a celebration for all our hard work on the Alphabet!

Number of the Week: ALL DONE!!!! 1-20 seems like it flew!! Just review and math concepts from here on out!

God's Time: The Resurrection and Pentacost. Mary for the Month of May

Shape/Color of the Month: Multi-sided shapes (polygons) and Pink

Unit Theme: Bugs and Gardens-We will try and plant our garden this week.

Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26th. Pre-K has an early in the morning time slot. We only get a chance to shop-no window shopping. If you would like to buy books for your child please send them with either a pre-order (found on school website) or I can help them choose a book or two if you would like to send them with cash or a check. I do not take all  the children to the book fair. Only the ones with money to purchase or the Pre-order. 

Pre-K Fun Week: Begins on Monday, May 24th. 

        Monday-Pre-K Luau. Come to school dressed in bathing suits and safe water shoes. Bring a towel and a FULL Change of clothes-don't forget dry shoes!

        Tuesday- Pre-K Camping Trip- Come to school ready to hike and camp. Safe sneakers for walking around the school grounds looking for nature. 

        Wednesday-Pre-K Super Hero day- Come dressed as your favorite superhero or in a super hero tshirt. We will be celebrating all the True Real Heros!!

         Thursday-Pre-K Olympics -USA!!! Come dressed in Red White and Blue and safe sneakers for some Olympic Sized Games and fun.

         Friday- Pre-K Prom- Come dressed to impress and be ready to dance your socks off! 

Noon Dismissal on Friday May 28th. NO AFTERCARE

No School on Monday, May 31st-Memorial Day

Last Day of Pre-K is Thursday June 10th.

Summer Fun Week: The week of May 24th. Please be sure you have permission slips signed and turned in, along with your $10.00 for the Entertainer.

Summer Tag Day: We are dressing for Summer (no bathing suits) on May 14th for an 8th grade Tag Day. 

Women's Cancer Service Project: 8th grade is running a service project, collecting items for the Women's Cancer Center of Morristown.

May 28th is a Noon dismissal- NO Aftercare
