Week of May 17th

 Finally, it feels like May! Welcome Sunshine!!!

Letter of the Week: WE DID IT!!!!! WE completed our letter lessons! Just review from here on out! Next week we will have a celebration for all our hard work on the Alphabet!

Number of the Week: ALL DONE!!!! 1-20 seems like it flew!! Just review and math concepts from here on out!

God's Time: The Resurrection and Pentacost. Mary for the Month of May

Shape/Color of the Month: Multi-sided shapes (polygons) and Pink

Unit Theme: Bugs and Gardens-We will try and plant our garden this week.


Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26th. Pre-K has an early in the morning time slot. We only get a chance to shop-no window shopping. If you would like to buy books for your child please send them with either a pre-order (found on school website) or I can help them choose a book or two if you would like to send them with cash or a check. I do not take all  the children to the book fair. Only the ones with money to purchase or the Pre-order. 

Pre-K Fun Week: Begins on Monday, May 24th. 

        Monday-Pre-K Luau. Come to school dressed in bathing suits and safe water shoes. Bring a towel and a FULL Change of clothes-don't forget dry shoes!

        Tuesday- Pre-K Camping Trip- Come to school ready to hike and camp. Safe sneakers for walking around the school grounds looking for nature. 

        Wednesday-Pre-K Super Hero day- Come dressed as your favorite superhero or in a super hero tshirt. We will be celebrating all the True Real Heros!!

         Thursday-Pre-K Olympics -USA!!! Come dressed in Red White and Blue and safe sneakers for some Olympic Sized Games and fun.

         Friday- Pre-K Prom- Come dressed to impress and be ready to dance your socks off! 

Noon Dismissal on Friday May 28th. NO AFTERCARE

No School on Monday, May 31st-Memorial Day

Last Day of Pre-K is Thursday June 10th. 

Pre-K 4 Moving Up Ceremony: Friday, June 11th at 1:30. Information went home in folders and on email. More info will follow in a couple weeks.
