This week we will be having fun with a Summer Theme Week. 

Learning about Strawberries, Ocean Creatures and How to be safe and have fun in the summer.

We released our Butterflies and have been closely watching our momma and poppa robin with their little ones!

Week of May 23rd

 Butterfly, Butterfly, Fly AWAY!!! We are releasing our butterflies this week! They are all so beautiful!

Unit Theme: Finishing Up our Unit Theme on Bugs and Gardens this week.

God's Time: Working on how we can live like Jesus.

Scholastic Book Fair: We will be shopping on Wed. May 25th. Only children wil money or ewallet will go to the Book Fair. Please place all money in a labeled envelope and send it in by Wed. 5/25. Email me to let me know your child has ewallet money.

Buddy Picnic Snack: Friday May 27th. Please bring in snack, water, towel and small stuffed friend in a labeled shopping bag.

Week of CRAYOLA!!!

 So excited for our trip this week! Look for a memo in the folders.

Academics:

We have completed our numbers and our letters! The children are doing so amazing with their work! Going forward we are going to focus on review, application of knowledge and FUN!!!

Unit Theme: We are still working on our Bugs and Gardens theme. Our butterflies are almost ready to make their debut! We are also going to plant a flower garden on the Pre-K playground for all to enjoy!

God's Time: are about to finish up our SEEDS program with -Jesus is the Good Shepherd. 

Crayola Factory: We are going to Crayola Factory on Wed. May 18th. You should arrive by 9:30 for the opening at 10:00. Lunch can be bought there or you can bring lunch. We are the only school program there so we have space in the lunch room to keep our lunch bags. More information about the day will be in the back packs on Monday.

Pre-K Fun Week: The week of June 6th. Please read over the letter that went home and let me know if you have any questions. I need all Food Item Sign Off sheets ASAP!

Last Day of Pre-K: June 10th

Moving Up Ceremony: June 13th at 1:00. Children need to be at school by 12:15.

 The Beautiful Weather is finally starting to show up! Please have the children wear sneakers or safe running shoes for school.

Letter of the Week: Zz and it's phonetic sound! We did it!!! We made it to Zz. Today we will have a little fun with the Alphabet Zoo!!

Number of the Week: Practicing Number 1-20 Missing Numbers, What comes next, Which is bigger/smaller.

God's Time: May is the Month of Mary. We are preparing for our small but important part in this Friday's May Crowning!

 Shape/Color of the Month: Multi-Sided Shapes and Pink

May Crowning: Friday May 13th at 1:00pm in St Therese Church. Pre-K has a small participation part in the service.

Crayola Class Trip: Wednesday,  May 18th. 

Ascension Thursday: Pre-K will be attending Ascension Thursday Mass at 8:30 on Thursday, May 26th.
