Week of May 29th

Monday 5/29- No School

Tuesday 5/30- Bring Me to the Zoo - PreK Animal Day

                        Dress with an animal pattern or an animal on your shirt. Bring a small soft animal (no battery compartment) to join us in some games and fun! 

Wednesday 5/31- STS Field Day- We will be outside for the morning. Please apply sunscreen at home and pack plenty of water. Wear sneakers for fun and games created by our Eighth Grade!

Friday 6/2- Final Pre-K Show N Tell- Bring whatever you'd like and be ready to"tell"us all about it!

Monday 6/5- Final Buddy Day - Picnic Snack with our buddies. Bring a book and stuffed animal with your snack and a towel in a labeled bag. Label All Items!

                        - Last Day of Pre-K 4

Tuesday 6/6- Pre-K Moving Up Day at 1:00pm in STS auditorium.

Week Of May 22nd

 SOOOOOO MUCH GOING ON!!!!- Lot's of FUN for the rest of the year!

         Please hand in any items you have for donation to our Fun Week!

Monday-We will be celebrating Mrs. Matthews' birthday with an ice cream treat!

Tuesday-Kona Ice Day curtesy of the STS HSA!

Wednesday-Pre-K Fun Week Begins!

                    - Pre-K Prom. -Dress your best!!! Be ready to dance away! Chicken Nugget Lunch begins at 11:00 for all children to participate. No need for packed snack or lunch this day!

Thursday- Art in the Park Day

                  - We are still in need of volunteers!

                  - Dress to get messy! We are using some permanent colors!

                  - We will be tye dying our shirts

Friday- Water Fun Day - Noon Dismissal with NO AFTERCARE

             - We are in need of volunteers for this day!

              - Dress to get wet. Safe water shoes-NO FLIP FLOPS

              - Bring a towel-Labeled!!!

               - Bring a full change of clothes-Labeled!!!

Monday-No School Memorial Day

Tuesday- 5/30 Put Me in the Zoo Day

             - Come to school with a a stuffed animal friend. One that is soft (no batteries) and able to fit in your hands for games.

Wednesday 5/31- STS Field Day

                 - Wear Sneakers and your tye dyed shirt. Bring water to drink. We will be outside all morning!

Week of May 15th

 Spring is here and we are enjoying our final weeks together!!!!

The children were AMAZING at the May Crowning!!!!

We have completed our Alphabet, Number and SEEDS Series! The children have really rocked this learning stuff!!!

For the remainder of our time we will be having a good time with some Kindergarten Concepts and Fun lessons. 

Much of our time will be spent preparing for our Moving Up Ceremony. Please keep an eye out for information on this special day. (June 6th at 1:00 pm). The children will have a line to practice at home for the show.

Kona Ice: Kona Ice is being offered by the HSA on Tuesday May 30th. The children can not participate without a permission slip. Please print (STS website) and fill out the slip and send it in by May 23rd. 

Pre-K Fun in the Sun Week: Pre-K is celebrating all their hard work with a WEEK of FUN!!! A permission slip was sent home and NEEDS to be signed and returned or I can not give your child any of the food items for that day.

STS Field Day: Day will round out our Fun Week! If you purchased a Tshirt for Field Day please send it in to be Tye Dyed on Tuesday May 23rd. If you did not purchase a tshirt you can send in a plain white tshirt for tye dying on May 23rd.

Week of May 8

 Here we are- finishing our Alphabet and Numbers 1-20!!! This time went to fast! But we still have a lot of learning and fun ahead!

Letter of the week: Zz and it's phonetic sound

Number of the Week: 20 is 10 and 10 more!

God's Time: Finishing our SEEDS series- Jesus Loves Us 

Unit Study: We have 5 new beautiful butterflies! Time to prepare to plant our garden!

Shape and Color of the Month: Multi-sided Shapes and Pink

Thursday May 11th at 1:00pm -May Crowning. If your part-time child is joining us for the day please let me know ASAP, via email.

Pre-K Fun Week begins Wed. May 24th. Please refer to the schedule sent out in the folders and if you can help please reach out or sign up with Sign Up Genius. 

Noon Dismissal Fri. May 26th.
