OCTOBER ALREADY!!! It's official-the year is flying by!

Review Week:This will be our review week for the month of September. WE will review letters Aa-Cc, Numbers 1-3 our shape Circle and color Yellow.

Unit Lessons: Creation-Five Senses-Sense of  Touch

God's Time: SEEDS -We Gather in Jesus' Name

                       St. Therese and the Rosary (for October)

Sunday 9/29 at 10:30-Bishop Sweeney celebrates St. Therese Mass at St. Therese Church

Tues. Oct 1st-The Feast of St. Therese Walk A Thon. Mass is at 9:30 (PreK is not attending mass) the walk will follow after. Please wear sneakers and weather appropriate jackets/sweatshirts. 

Wed. Oct. 2nd- PreK4 September Show n Tell. Please bring in ONE item that follows our lessons of September (See Review list above)

The end of September ALREADY!!! We are moving and grooving and really getting into routine at Pre-K4.

Letter of the Week: Cc and it's phonetic sounds

Number of the Week: 3 is one more than 2

God's Time: SEEDS-We learn about Jesus. This is our first SEEDS booklet of the year.

Unit Study: Five Senses-Sense of Smell

Shape and Color of the Month: Circle and Yellow

Coming Up: 

9/27 Meet and Greet Buddy Picnic Snack. 

         Please be sure that your child has Snack, Towel, Water Bottle and Small stuffed friend in a shopping bag-LABEL, LABEL,  LABEL!!! If your child is lunch bunch their snack should be separate from their lunch. Practice with your child their buddy's name.

10/2 September Show N Tell.

          Please bring in One Show n Tell Item. It needs to represent at least one of our learning lessons for the month of Sept. (Letters Aa, Bb, Cc Numbers 1,2,3 Shape Circle, Color Yellow God's Time -Creation and Noah's Ark Unit Theme is Five Senses) Your child should be able to SHOW AND TELL about their items. Practice at home.

Thank you so much for all the delicious apples! Apple Day was a huge success! I am sending home the recipe for our Pre-K Apple Dessert-I hope you enjoy making some at home with your little chef!
